Orbits
This Privacy Policy explains how Orbits (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when merchants install and use Orbits: Contact Form Builder (the “App”) on Shopify stores. It also describes how shopper data submitted through forms created with the App is handled.

When a shopper submits a form on a merchant’s storefront, the merchant is typically the data controller for that submission. Orbits acts as a processor / service provider for that merchant, except where we process data for our own App operations (for example account/install records or security logs).
When you install or use the App, we may receive and store:
Forms you build may collect whatever fields you configure (for example name, email, phone, message, address, product selections, consent checkboxes, file uploads, and other custom fields). Depending on your form settings, we may also record:
You control whether submissions are saved in the App, emailed to you or to shoppers, synced to Shopify Customers, and/or sent to connected integrations.
To provide dashboards and reports, the App may record form view, start, submit, error, and spam-related events, including approximate device/browser information derived from the user agent, page path, referrer host, session identifiers, and hashed network identifiers. Aggregated analytics may be retained longer than raw event detail.

Third parties you connect are independent services with their own privacy policies. You are responsible for configuring those services lawfully (including consent and marketing preferences) for your shoppers.
The App’s embedded Shopify admin interface may rely on cookies or similar technologies required for authentication and session continuity. On the storefront, the App may use browser session storage for analytics session identifiers and may load third-party scripts you enable (such as Google reCAPTCHA). Shopify and your theme may set additional cookies independent of this App.
App data is stored on our application servers and databases associated with https://formbuilder.orbitsdev.com, and in Shopify (for example authorized API data and app metafields used to render forms). Uploaded submission files are stored in a protected uploads area on our servers. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Shoppers should contact the merchant store first for requests about form submissions collected on that store. We also respond to Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks (customer data request, customer redaction, and shop redaction) in accordance with Shopify’s requirements and applicable law.
The App and its processors may process data in countries other than where you or your shoppers are located. Where required, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate protections for such transfers.
The App is intended for merchants operating Shopify stores and is not directed to children. Merchants are responsible for ensuring their forms are appropriate for their audience and comply with applicable children’s privacy laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we post revisions. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
